There is no booking engine here on purpose. You message me, I tell you what is free and what it costs for your dates, and that is the booking. Usually within the hour. A one-night advance keeps the room yours.
Prefer to book through a platform? I am listed on all four, though booking direct is cheaper for you, and it means you are talking to me rather than a call centre.

Nothing here is sent to a server. It simply writes the message for you; then WhatsApp opens with it ready, and you press send.

A residential lane about a kilometre from Puri Railway Station. Any auto driver knows Sarbodaya Nagar; show them the map pin for my gate.
To confirm a booking I ask for one night's rent in advance. It is adjusted against your bill; it is not an extra charge.
People used to call, ask me to hold a room, and never arrive. Meanwhile a family would be standing at my gate and I would have to turn them away for a guest who never came. The advance means I never have to make that choice, and that the room you were promised is genuinely waiting.
Plans change, and trains are late. Tell me as early as you can and I will do what I can.
The only thing I ask is that you tell me. A room I could have given to somebody else is the one thing that genuinely costs me.
Puri trains arrive at odd hours and I am used to it. Send me your train number when you book and somebody will be awake and waiting, whatever time it gets in.
If your train is in the evening, leave your bags with me and use the terrace for the afternoon. I do not charge for that.
I am a kilometre from the railway station and the bus stand. I do not run pick-ups or drops, and I do not rent out vehicles, but getting here is simple.
Ask me what any of it should cost before you agree a price. Visitors are routinely quoted two or three times the local rate.
Every guest over 18 must show a government photo ID when checking in. This is the law for all accommodation in India, not a rule of mine.
I record only what is required and nothing else.
Longer stays cost less per night. I have had guests stay a month, writers, people recovering, people who simply liked it here.
